just chilling

I realize that I haven't posted in a while. Yeah, the last one was rather depressing. I'll try not to do that this time. So, Kasey and I entered the AFI's Begin Transmission contest with over 600 other people and sadly we lost. It was hurtful and depressing at first but now that I've had time to get it out of my system, I feel mucho better! I know they will tour toward the end of the year so I WILL get to see Davey! MMMMM...him and his beautiful eyes and amazing smile. Yeah, I could so go on. Kasey, Kristen, and I are going to see Shinedown in March and Kasey and I are going to see Jeff Dunham for the second time! I can't wait!! See..a more happier blog this time! I've spent my time working and reading the Twilight Saga for the second time. LOVE it!! I've seen the movie 4 times! LOL. I'm still looking for my "Edward". I'm sure he's out there hiding. He needs to stop though, I'm not getting any younger! Well, I'm off to bid on an AFI vinyl! You heard me!!

dreaming is a waste of time...

I really don't understand why things happen the way they do. I know I'm not a good person but damn..sometimes I wish I could just once have something I truly want. I've been thinking a lot about the stories we hear as kids. Well, girls mostly. Stories of prince charmings that will come along and sweep you off your feet and fall in love with you. I know it's a fantasy. It's not true. There aren't prince charmings and not every girl has someone who loves them. I think it's shitty though. I'm 32 years old and I'm alone. I hate it!!! You know they say looks aren't everything but that's a lie too. Sadly people judge based on looks and I'm being honest when I say I do too. I'll admit it. Of course I do know that I'm not pretty. I never said I was. So, I can sorta understand why I don't have a boyfriend. My best friend is beautiful and it astounds me that guys don't see how wonderful she is! I see it and I really want her to have someone as well. I'm sure she will soon. I have no doubt about that. It just sucks she is having to wait. I wish I didn't think Davey Havok was so amazing. Damn him and his beautiful eyes and addictive smile!! I know I'll never "meet" him either. I'm not stupid. He's not going to see me at a concert one day and think I'm worthy of his time. I'm just another fan. I don't live in the realm of delusion thinking that one day I'm going to get to talk to him. I live on the other side of the US! Not gonna happen. I'm so gonna end up as the old cat lady everyone hates. I'll probably die like the old cat lady on the episode of CSI by some kid. Yeah..that's promising. GRRR...I hate life sometimes. Other times it's great. Oh well...life isn't always fair and I know that too. It just sucks.

It's been a while

Wow..it's been a LONG time since I've posted anything here. I've been incredibly slack. I've had this summer off suprisingly. Usually I work at a daycare in the summer but not this year. I go back to teaching Monday. I'm pretty excited about it actually! I'll be teaching 2nd grade instead of 3rd. So I don't have to worry about the stress of EOGs. I've read a ton this summer. I read the entire Twilight Saga by Stephenie Myers which is 4 books. Amazing is all I can say! This series is quite possibly my favorite book series ever. I've also read 2 CSI books, Die Softly, Monday's Child, and I have another book ready for me to devour. I still don't have a boyfriend but it's okay. I know I'll meet someone. Until then I have to become more social and outgoing. It's not easy but I have a wonderful friend that is backing me up. Well, I'm starving for some strange reason, so I'm gonna go eat. Later all.

2007...a look back

I usually do a lot of my blogging on myspace but I thought this would be fun as well. I've had an amazing year! I went to Las Vegas with my best friend in June and we got to see Tiger Army and The Dear and Departed. The cool thing was that AFI was there and I got to see Davey sitting up in the balcony. One thing you'll learn about me fast, is that I LOVE Davey Havok!!!! He's amazing!!! In June, my best friend and I went to see TA and TD&D at Warped Tour. This time in Charlotte NC. We saw Blaqk Audio in Atlanta, TD&D in Nashville, and U-Phonik in Charlotte. We've had a very busy year going to concerts. We also went to the 106.5 concert to see Cinder Road, Madina Lake, Silversun Pickups, and Flyleaf. So, yeah, 2007 was great!!! I've made friends with David from The Dear and Departed. My best friend and I are going to see them again and TA in Jan!!! Can't wait!! Now, before you think all do is go to concerts, I do work. I'm a third grade teacher and I work in a daycare in the summer. I'm also single right now, so I don't have a boyfriend that I'm leaving alone to go to these concerts. I want a boyfriend. I'm very picky though. I have this thing about certain guys. Of course, I'm not sure what guy could compare to Davey!! Well, that's about it for now. I've gotta go get ready! Later!
